My Top 5 Favorites for 2011

Everyone else is doing their top 10 favorites, but since I have been such a blog slacker I can't gather 10, because well, that would be just about everything I made last year. :-/ I just can't seem to find the time since getting a full time job. It's my first FT job in over a decade so the balance of life has been very challenging!

So here are my 5 fav's:

  1. Even though your list is short, it is certainly sweet. I couldn't imaging finding crafting time if I had a full time job. The few things you did find time to make are really super. I hope you can find a little more 'me' time next year.

    being a mom is 24/7 hostile negotiations...
    budget balancing...
    maid...
    chef...
    chauffeur...
    name it!!
    Now...
    you happen to be one of those that has 2 FT jobs...
    and no extra hours in the day :(

  9. Oh wow do you ever know how to work that Friendship Jar image, Susan! I just love the thank you note with the gladiolas!! Amazing job on these! PS...I hear you pain...my job puts a serious damper on my creativity, too ;)

  10. Well you know those purple butterflies is one of my favorites! I am looking at it right this minute. I am so glad you shared all your cards with us, pretty soon you will be right in the swing of working and finding time to create for yourself, so I predict there will many more cards for 2012!   16. Your cards are a perfect example of QUALITY over Quantity :-) Every one of them is perfect. I have to admit, my mouth dropped open a bit on that last one. The detail is amazing. You really rocked it! Happy New Year! I have a FT job too so I feel your pain! (and its not nearly as fun as playing with stamps!)

  27. These are all gorgeous and I love the colors in the first card. I'm a SAHM (who homeschools too) and I can only imagine trying to find the balance if I were to go back to work FT. Thanks for sharing these, they are all beautifully done! Looking forward to seeing more this year (no pressure! lol!). :)

  29. It's not the quantity, but the quality, and you've got some stunning cards here! I adore the first one with the blooming branch and birds - just gorgeous, and fabulous colouring and idea for the second one of putting YOF into the jar especially. TFS!
