LIfe is a Journey

Tomorrow my parents are celebrating their 49th Wedding Anniversary!! Being the procrastinator that I am I waited until the very last minute to whip up their card. However, I must say that it came together very quickly! I love how the Limitless Layers paired with the Mat Stack 4 set looks.

Inside I put a gift card holder and some gift cards to the Outback Steakhouse. I stamped some roses for a subtle background.

I love PTI's Seed packet die but don't own it yet. So I tried to make my own gift card holder. I just used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard, a corner rounder and some scissors. Wrapped some twine around it and tied on a Tiny Tag with 2 cute little Love Birds.

Thanks for stopping by again today. I have a few other projects to share. Hopefully I'll be back soon!

Happiness in a Jar

A friend of mine was having a tough day. So what better way to brighten up her day then to send chocolate? And me being me, can't just send it in it's orginal bag. How boring! So I bought a canister, filled it with Hershey Kisses and then used my Silhouette to cut out the vinyl lettering. Whipped this gift up in 5 minutes!

Hopefully it will take her a bit longer than 5 minutes to eat it. But when she does finish it, she'll get a cute little reminder at the bottom. Because one should never be without chocolate. ;-)
