Sending Lots of Love

I apologize for the terrible pictures recently. It's been cloudy and rainy here and I have yet to learn how to use my awesome T3i.

I've been seeing so many of those window cards, I just had to get the die. I quickly whipped this one up last night. Behind the window I adhered blue cardstock and some vellum. In real life it has a nice opaque quality.

I wanted to keep it clean and simple but I can't decide if it turned out too busy or a bit boring. I am still struggling with my *style* but I know with some practice I'll get there. I just need to stay off Pinterest long enough to actually spend more time in my craft room. ;-)

  1. Beautiful card, Susan. I love your use of the fence die with the window frame die. I always think of using the window frame to look out to the outside. I like your use of being on the outside.

  2. I love it. The window is great and the addition of the butterfly is perfect!!

  3. Now this is really smart! A fence outside the window like you are looking in. You are too creative! I love this. I think the pink butterfly was a great touch too!

  4. Gorgeous! Love the soft, pretty colors and the LO. The woodgrain embossing really makes this card.

  5. Crunchy! So good to see you posting...your card is stunning!

  6. This card is beautiful! The woodgrain is perfect! There is nothing boring about this card nor is it too busy. Love it!

  7. I have to be honest and say that this is a perfect CAS card! Definitely not too busy and far from boring. You have a beautiful style, tfs!!!

  8. If you are still struggling with your style, may I please have the one your using now! I can clear that right out of your way and make some more room for you. What a fabulous card. Please try NOT to loose your current style.

  9. I think it's lovely Susan! We're always our worst critics right? I love the embossing and that bit of pink:)
