CAS-ual Friday Vellum - Take 2

I had a few extra minutes last night while the girls were preoccupied with a friend sleeping over so I thought I'd play with some vellum again.

I made a vellum envelope and then stuck a mini card inside of it.

I added a heart with a vellum butterfly as the "seal".

If you pull the mini card out, you can write a little note inside of it. I stamped some of the mini flowers from the Year of Flowers set on the front.

Don't hold your breath, but I might even have another card to post this week!
Cathy, please don't pass out. ;)

Stamps: PTI Postmarks, Trendy Trees and Year of Flowers, Lawn Fawn You've Got Mail
Ink: Amuse Sugar and Wheat, PTI Kraft, Fresh Ink Pink Lemonade
Paper: PTI Rustic Cream and Sweet Blush, Vellum
Misc: PTI Envelope Die, Amuse Butterfly Die

  1. The vellum envelope is gorgeous. Love your take on the challenge. Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!

  2. I can see that you are really having fun with your vellum. This card is such a great idea--your mini envelope is so sweet.

  3. Susan, this is beautiful. I love the soft and pretty vellum envie and the gorgeous note inside. Can't wait to see what else you have to share for this week's CAS-ual Fridays! Thanks for playing along!

  4. This is super cute!! I love that sweet envelope, such a fun detail to add to the card.

  5. How fun! I think I have a few of those little mini vellum envelopes in a little cubby drawer. Thanks for the reminder and inspiration for what to do with them!!

  6. So pretty! I really like the vellum with the light pink - such a soft and pretty look.

  7. So the idea of a vellum envie! So soft and light. Love the seal too.
