Aloha Sophie

I made this card for my friend Cheryl's Riley & Sophie swap. It was my first time trying to sponge a sky. I drew a cloud, cut it out then used it as a mask. I had fun cutting out Sophie and popping her up. The waves happened as an accident but I ended up liking the look.

I have other projects to show but not much time to post recently. I hope to get back into my stamping groove soon!!!

Stamps: Sophie, Studio G (sentiment & drink)
Ink: Memento Black, Versafine Sepia, SU Bashful Blue
Paper: PTI White, misc cream, misc pink
Misc: Copics, Offray Ribbon, CB Tags, stickles, diamond glaze, spica pen, twine, dimensionals

  1. your sky turned out fabulous!! i love the riley stamps...i must get some!!

  2. Susan, your card swap turned out great. I haven't tried the sky technique yet, but you've done a great job here!!! I love the pop ups too!!!

  3. This is adorable! Are you sure Sophie is old enough to drink? LOL!
